About Us: Visual Story Media
Since 1987, Alan Fitch has been producing creative, professional video tailored to the needs of businesses, individuals and families in Northern California. Over the years, this award-winning videographer and his associates have quietly built a reputation for polished productions and effective storytelling for all manner of clients.
Visual Story Media has consistently received Awards of Merit in competition with other professional videographers within the Redwood Empire chapter of Professional Photographers of America, including the 1996 Video of the Year award. Excerpts from their productions were accepted for exhibition at the prestigious 1996, 1998, 2000, 2004 and 2010 WEVA International Expos, and Alan was honored to serve as a Creative Excellence Judge for the 2003 WEVA International competition.
What sets Visual Story Media apart is their attention to detail, their experience and dedication to improving their craft. Through continuing education under the auspices of such organizations as the Professional Videographers of the North Bay (of which they are a founding member,) the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and the WEVA International, they constantly strive to take the quality and originality of their productions to the next higher level.
Community service is important too, and toward that end Visual Story Media has produced videos for the Greater Petaluma Chapter of the American Cancer Society, C.O.T.S., Petaluma Health Care District, Sutter Santa Rosa Medical Center, Rebuilding With Christmas in April and America’s Top Black Chefs Awards. In honor of his video productions of their annual Who’s Who Star Revue fund raiser, Alan was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship by the Petaluma Valley and Petaluma Sunrise Rotary Clubs.
“We have been described by our clients as imaginative, thorough and dependable. It’s also interesting to note that most of our clients are referrals from satisfied customers or from other professionals who have seen our work,” says Alan.
“We are fortunate enough to be in a profession that’s not only perfect for our blend of skills and experience, but one that also brings daily opportunities for inspiration and creativity. The possibilities are limitless.”
